Step 1: Create Tests in HackerRank & Collect API
Before integrating HackerRank with easy.jobs you need to have a HackerRank business account, set up assessments, and generate an API token to integrate. Sign up and log in to your HackerRank account. Now, from your HackerRank dashboard, go to the ‘Test’ tab to create tests.
Select a role and hit the ‘Create Test’ button to create an assessment for recruitment. You can also modify the test according to your needs to make it more relevant to the role you are hiring. Now, hit the ‘Publish’ button to add the assessment to your active tests list.
For integration with easy.jobs, you need to generate an API key from HackerRank. Go to ‘Settings’ from dashboard and choose the ‘API’ tab. Upon clicking the ‘New Token’ button and setting a label, you can generate a new token.

Now, to assign tests created by HackerRank, go to the ‘Jobs’ tab from your easy.jobs dashboard and click on the ‘Candidates’ option for the job you want to assign the test. You can select a single or multiple candidates and then click on the ‘Assign Assessment’ button. In the popup, choose ‘HackerRank’ as the platform, and select the assessment set with an expiry date. You are done sending tests to the specific candidates you chose upon hitting the ‘Assign Assessment’.

Once a candidate completes the HackerRank assessment you can evaluate their performance according to the test taken. Click on the ‘View Details’ button on the candidate then select the ‘Evaluation’ tab and choose the ‘Assessment’ tab, as shown below, to see the test results and evaluate.
